Artwork For Your Walls

As I have stated before I have limited funds for what some people would deem frivolous things such as decorating. But that does not stop me from decorating my apartment. So even though I cannot afford paintings or anything similar my walls are still covered in framed posters and my own photography. Unfortunately my walls had been boring me lately, so I went on a hunt for something new.

On Pinterest I found a great idea for people like myself who can’t yet afford artwork. It’s an incredibly simple project, requiring only 8×10 or 8 1/2×11 picture frames and scrapbook paper. You can get the scrapbook paper at your local Hobby Lobby or Michael’s, and the frames can be purchased at either of those locations or Target.
If you buy 8 1/2×11 picture frames you won’t have to do any trimming on the scrapbook paper, if it’s an 8×10 picture frame you may have to do some mild trimming to place the paper in the frame.
After trimming down the paper and placing it in the frame, you can now hang your new “artwork”.
This project can be done in 10 minutes or less for less than $5.

Another great way to add personalization to your walls, or a great personalized gift for a friend!
